3 Epic Family Summer Minis You Don't Want to Miss
Just two more weeks until summer, and let me tell you: I. Can't. Wait. My Littles are filling the car with tunes of "Kindergarten here we come, here we come!" as they prepare for preschool graduation. Family soccer schedules are winding down (ps. does anyone have tips on quick and healthy meals for crazy sports and photo session schedules?) and we are starting to carve out plans for lots of summer family fun.
It's such a strange feeling, when you realize that your kids are finally old enough that getting ready to adventure somewhere ISN'T a 40 minute ordeal to get out of the house. *Sighs in sweet relief*.
And how amazing does a small taste of normal feel? WE CAN ACTUALLY MAKE PLANS YOU GUYS!!!
So while you are busy planning out an epic 2021 summer, make sure you add in some epic family minis. Gather up your littles in your freshly sun-kissed arms, and let's make some memories!!
Make Sure you check out my Minis Page for lots of great Mini Q&A!!!
June 18-Creek Stomp Minis
I look forward to Creek Stomp minis every year now. There's nothing that screams authentic family childhood sessions like messy, wet, dirty fun. The creek stomp minis typically take place in Zionsville's Creekside Nature Park, but will depend on the rain levels that week (safety first!) with a backup location at Cool Creek. Sunflower Fields Forever
Sunflower Mini family sessions are hands down one of my most popular minis of the YEAR. I mean- who doesn't love dancing in a field of sunflowers with the people you love most in the world? Unfortunately- they're also the most finicky of all of my sessions, as we are guided by the summer sun, rain, and mother nature as to when these blooms are at their most majestic. We can usually bet the sunflower fields will be at their peak around late July/Early August.

Sept 11 Appley- Ever After
Apple Orchard Minis! These take place at Stuckey Farms in Sheridan, IN, during golden hour in September. Families travel from all over Indianapolis to visit Stuckey Farms every year. These family minis are perfect for those holding out for slightly-cooler temps. I do have some light sets that add to (not take away from) the gorgeous location- blankets and pillows for tickle fights, a ladder for reaching high for the apples, a velvet antique chair for portraits.
